Back in my 20s and early 30s, I had a homepage where I shared my programs and various writing projects. Being a cheap bastard, I wasn't paying for hosting but instead piggybacked off whoever would lend me diskspace. This made me a bit nomadic, forcing me to hop from one place to another as various people got tired of me mooching their bandwidth. (Toward the end I literally had to start postal-mailing people cdroms, because, due to the high number of downloads from my site, I kept hitting the bandwidth limits.)

Then life got busy, and I stopped putting in the effort. My homepage fell into the great bitbucket in the sky.

Now that I'm in my 50s, I'm somewhat less cheap (don't get me wrong... I'm still cheap... I'm just slightly less cheap). So I figured I'd splurge, get some hosting, buy a domain name... you know the drill.

Can't think of what else to say off the top of my head, but if you have any questions, feel free to email me.
